Back again! If you read my last post you'd know that I was waiting for a delivery well, it's hereee! So I'm going to do a short haul of everything I got. Enjoy!
Firstly, I have had my eye on Sleek Blusher for a while now after seeing various Youtubers using/buying it including Tanya Burr *cough* obsessed...and Zoella; my two favourite Youtubers without a doubt! So I thought it was about time I got some for myself. Personally I don't really think reds and pinks suit my skin tone very well so I was looking for more of a orange or brown blush - but that backfired because I think I chose the pinkest blusher in their variety of 10 shades. I found it really hard to chose a blusher online because you never really know what the colour is actually going to turn out like (we don't have a superdrug with Sleek in on the little Isle of Wight, typical) but after hunting through swatch posts and Youtube videos I gave up entirely and decided to go with a spontaneous choice of Pixi Pink. This put me back just £4.49 which I thought was a bargain after the amazing reviews I've heard.
When I first applied that I was obviously a little heavy handed and under estimated the amazing pigmentation of this product, because I looked a little like Noddy. I really love how pigmented it is because not only does it give you a nice cheekbone but it means that the product is going to last longer than those that are less pigmented, yay! It's also fairly small which is nice and I LOVE the huge mirror it comes with because who doesn't love a compact mirror. So yes, I'm very happy with this product and definately want to purchase another one.
Whilst looking at
Sleek products I came across a
nude lipstick which I've been after for a while now, after seeing various celebrities pulling them off and it being a nice Autumn shade! So it got this one (right) from the
True Colour collection for £4.99 (another bargain)
in Nude. I got this in
Sheen however was a little bit disappointed when it arrived as I thought I had ordered it in matte, boo. But I put some
transparent powder over the top of my lips after applying it and they look just as good as matte and it felt a lot more secure on my lips too.

The colour is really nice, and again really
pigmented! The shade suited my skin tone surprisingly well, I didn't want it to look as if I had foundation on my lips but It's luckily slightly darker than my skin tone so looks nice, but I think I'd probably stay away from this lipstick if I had a tan! I wanted the product in matte because I usually find that they last longer than sheen lipsticks and I'm completely obsessed with matte lipstick after buying
Kate Mosses Lasting Finish Matte Collection in 111, 101 & 110. But this one seems to last really well for a good few hours.
I already have a few MUA products including the amazing Pro Eyebrow Kit (£3.50) which I highly recommend. Personally I think MUA products are really good quality, considering the price, so when I saw that their blushers and bronzer's were just a pound I thought, why not!
I chose the blusher in
Lolly which is a new
peachy/pinky matte colour and really
pigmented! I love the colour so much and think it's really flattering on my skin tone so am very pleased with this blusher for the amazing price of £1. It's also really easy to apply and I thought it felt really
creamy, which I wasn't expecting.
I chose the Bronzer in Shade 1, the lightest shade out of the three choices. This shade is very subtle with slight shimmer in, although I know not all of them are shimmery as somewhere, I have a MUA matte bronzer. I never usually chose shimmery products as I don't really like how it looks on me but this product it's really subtly and gives me a nice glow that isn't too sparkly and in your face! Unlike the blusher however, it isn't very pigmented, boohoo. Definately need a few layers for this one! The packaging for both the products is nice though, although very simple and not too jazzy. Due to the clear pallet you can find the shade you're looking for easily unlike Sleek products or example where the colour of the product is blacked out. Well done MUA, you've done it again!

Lastly, Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - another Tanya Burr inspired product! I've wanted one of these brushes since I started watching Tanya Burr's videos, over a year ago but I've always tried finding alternatives and putting off buying one because they're on average £10 which seems a lot for a make-up brush. After reading a huge handful of reviews I have not heard one negative comment about Real Techniques brushes and I had to buy one at some point so I thought today may as well be the day, so I did and not surprisingly, I am already obsessed! Which brings me to think, why did it take me so long to get one!? I paid £8.99 for this brush from Superdrug which now, I don't think is bad value for what you get! It gives my face such a flawless finish and I've wanted a nice brush for a while now so that I get out of the bad habit of using my hands, and here it is! I can definately tell the difference on the finish of my make-up and I'll definately be buying more of these brushes. Everything is good about them, the brush it's self, the handle, the design. Perfecto!
