Hello!
I'm Scarlett, I'm 17 and live on the Isle of Wight! I'm currently doing my second year of levels (yawn), and everything's started to get pretty serious in terms of university/further education! I'm studying English Language, Media Studies and Sociology (after finally dropping business), all three subjects I do really enjoy. I love Media and am hoping to go onto Uni to study it, and whilst planning my personal statement...realised I need to find myself a hobby that I can use to sell myself that has slight relevance to the field I want to go into (ramble over). So, I though...BLOG!
I've been interested in blogging/for a while now, as I'm obsessed with Tanya Burr's beauty blog and Youtube channel! I really enjoy reading beauty blog's and i know that a lot of other people do, so I've decided to start my own. I'd love a Youtube channel but I'm so nervous about it, if this blog turns out okay then I may consider doing the occasional haul! Being on a bit of a budget as a 17 year old with a part time job, I have decided to buy one product per week, be it clothes, make-up, hair products, shoes or whatever I have found and loved that week and write a review for you with pictures of the product/swatches etc, possibly more than one a week if I 'accidentally' go over budget and splash out (which is quite often)! whoops!
I may also include personal posts, so if i have a nice day out or go on holiday (...here's hoping) then i'll include that :-) So, there will be a little bit of variety about the blog! I think i'll be blogging 1-3 times a week as I need to fit in time for school work or else uni could be a no-go, and that would be awkward!
