Autumnal Everyday Make-Up

Hello!

There's no doubt that the summer is over and Autumn is here, after experiencing some thunder and lightening on a night out earlier this week i'm certain the sun's has has worked hard enough for 2014 and is in hibernation ready for spring!

Personally, I LOVE the winter months, be it fashion, make-up, snuggling up in bed or eating hot stocky foods, i love it all! In this post i'll be letting you all in on my simple Autumn everyday make-up routine, perfect for when you're in a rush on a lovely Autumn morning.

BASE-
Firstly my base! I Started with my Liz Earl Light moisturiser just to make applying my make-up much easier. I then went on to Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation I love this foundation because it has little specs of glitter in it making you look so naturally glowing, which i thinks really important this time of year as your skin starts getting dryer and can look really dull!
I then used Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer under my eyes and around my nose! This concealer is really brightening, lightweight and doesn't crease under the eyes at all, however it's not got a great coverage so if you need a little more TLC under those eyes then i'd recommend something with a little more coverage!

Lastly i use Benefit Sun Beam on the high points
of my cheeks just to make me look a little more
dewy (i'm currently suffering with a cold so
this is a great step for looking a little more
glowy and lively)!

CHEEKS-
I'm not a huge blusher fan in the summer but i think during the colder months, blushed cheeks are key! So i used this really nice cream blush called 'nearly nude' from F&F Face...(yes that is brand for Tesco but it's such a nice product and i picked this up for £1) a cream blush is a really good one to go for if you want to keep that dewy look!
I then used MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in 'medium dark' just to add color to my cheeks, jaw and forehead!

EYES-
I kept my eyes pretty simple as this is a quick make up look! I used Rimmel Wonder'Full Mascara, which i purchased the other day and am loving!
I then put Sleek Eyebrow Stylist in 'dark' through my eyebrows, I've never really got on with eyebrow pencils very well but this pencil is so waxy and easy to use it mimicks hairs really well and looks so natural!
Lastly I finished off with my Rimmel London Brow This Way in 'mid brown' just to keep my brows in place! I found this product quite hard to use and really clumpy when i first got it, but stick with it! Once you use it more and theres less product on the brush it is really easy to work with.

LIPS-
I finished off with possibly my favorite new lip product! Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 'Nude-ist' - really similar to Lime Crime Velvetines, these are a gloss that turn matte, and way less drying than the Velvetines (actually really moisturising), i am obsessed!

Hope you enjoyed this! :) I'm not being sponsored by Rimmel by the way despite this post being full off their products.
.. Let me know below what you think of this easy make up look :) see you soon, S x

...Oops

SO...it's been a while!

After starting up my blog last year, suddenly A-levels got a bit hectic and blogging took a back seat! My A-levels are over now however, and i am currently sat in my new student bedroom preparing myself for my first lecture tomorrow- that's right...university has come around.

Despite the lack of blogs, I did actually dip myself into the world of YouTube this summer! After doing this i've decided I want to get more involved in the YouTube/blogging community, and try to schedule myself to post a video and a blog once a week (a terrifying but exciting thought). I've been watching Youtube videos and reading blogs now for years and years and years and have since, always had an interest in being a beauty/lifestyle blogger - what better time to start than now!

I should get into a routine within the next month, just have to figure out what days works best! So keep your eyes peeled for posts and videos :)

See you soon!x
