Winter's Nailed

I love a painted nail, it's very...seriously rare if I ever have a bare nail (terrible I know) but I just have a phobia of a plain nail! With autumn behind us and winter very much here i've put together a few of my favourite nail varnish shades for this time of year!

I've chosen 5 of my favourite icy shades that I think are perfect for this time of year. Obviously, unless anyone's been on an exotic holiday recently (or are just naturally tanned) then most of us are going to be pretty pale...I like these shades because despite looking fabulous on tanned skin (especially Utopia and In The Navy) they also work well on pale skin too!

The Headkandi Baletric cool is very sheer, and you don't really get the colour that the bottle is unless you put a white layer on underneath. Mushroom is amazing, this is my go to colour, I literally wear this all year round! It looks good with most outfits and colours, and looks amazing on both pale and tanned skin! Nude Beige is a nice nude (obviously) and is lovely if you want a natural look that just goes with everything, perfect for autumn/winter. Utopia is a grey tinged white which again looks amazing with a tan, I love white nails as I think it looks really edgy and just has a really nice finish if you apply it correctly! The blue in the top left corner of the first picture is called In The Navy but I didn't get a picture of that (for some reason?) but this is another beautiful rich colour that looks good with pretty much everything!

Models Own nail varnishes are my addiction! They are so thick and pigmented which such a shiny finish, and I usually just have to do one coat to get a neat finish (although I do usually do two for durability) The lasting time isn't great, but with a good top coat on they can last about 5-6 days without chipping which isn't that bad, I guess! I purchased these ones from their website (http://www.modelsownit.com/products/nails/nail-polishes.html) for £5 each :)

Do you have any models own nail varnishes? What do yo think of them!?

WOOLIES!

Autumn wouldn't be Autumn without finding the perfect Woolie jumper! So I've been on a mission to find one that I love and could wear everyday...it's currently an work in progress however I have found some 'alrightish' ones that I'd thought I'd let you know about - which are all really good value (which is not surprising due to my lack of funds at the moment!)

 H&M Chennille Jumper £14.99
This jumper is the softest/fluffiest thing ever and it also comes in black. It's nice but a very weird fit and I don't think it's particularly flattering...but never the less is it VERY warm.
H&M Double Knit Jumper £10 (Sale)
This jumper I picked up in the sale so couldn't find a link, but it's just a basic jumper which is double knit so it's good for layering things under as it not particularly that warm that you'll overheat with a few extra layers underneath...

This is probably my favourite! I would have bought this in white however, it was sold out and so the pink was the next best thing which I though would make do. It is the fluffiest, softest jumper of all three and when you're in it, literally no breeze comes through at all...It's a miracle

This has been a very dull post but I thought I'd throw it in anyway :)
